Stratos Group Inc. (SG) believes in the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of stratosgroup.com. The following policy details the use of information provided to SG.
What information do you collect?
SG does not actively collect information about the users of its services. Users may, however, of their own volition submit their e-mail address to join our e-mail news list, or submit personal information that may be visible to users of our message boards. Any information submitted to stratosgroup.com is, again, submitted only on a voluntary basis.
How is this Information used?
SG does not reveal any information that users provide to us to third parties for any reason. E-Mail addresses submitted to SG either through the message board, the listserv signup, or regular email are held confidential and are not distributed.
While a username, e-mail address, and password are required to join the message boards at stratosgroup.com, any other information that is submitted is purely voluntary. The ability to post extra information about one's self for the use of the message boards is there purely to promote a community feeling by allowing others to know more about a user. If the user wishes, he/she may choose to not submit any extraneous information.
At any time a user may choose to remove themselves from either the message boards or mailing list of SG. When the user does make this decision then the Stratos Group does not retain information about that user.
SG reserves the right to remove users without the user's consent, with or without reason. While this will generally only happen if a user is abusive to the system, that does not need to be the case. If this occurs, SG also reserves the right to retain what identifiable information they have about the offender for the purpose of making sure that they do not sign up under another account.
Cookie Use on stratosgroup.com
Cookies are used on the Stratos Group website to help us provide the best possible online experience to the users of stratosgroup.com. Cookies are used to retain a user's password information for the message boards, as well as to let others know (if the user has this option enabled in their message board preferences) that they are online on the message boards. If a user is online but not on the message boards then they will not be shown as online on the message boards.
Children Under the Age of 13
SG in no way targets the audience of children under the age of 13. As most material on stratosgroup.com relates to products that are designed for an audience of 17+, SG also targets a more mature audience. Viewers of stratosgroup.com may, upon occasion, run into foul language, animated violence, and other mature subjects. Because of this, if you are under 13, please leave the site.

SG in no way assumes responsibility for the privacy policies of websites that are linked to by us, or for the websites of those who advertise on stratosgroup.com.
SG uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information that is disclosed to us secure.
